Buses zig and zag all over London and are a great way to get around, especially at night if you are on one of their routes.
The bus system and routes can be difficult to understand for newcomers but with a little time spent reading the schedules and a couple leaps of faith onto the bus, you will get the hang of things in no time.
Understanding the Schedule
Each bus stop has (or is supposed to have) a schedule which comes in the form of a spider map. These are diagrams of where the bus goes to from the stop you are at.
